1 year of 6 Dragons Core Course: a review
The first year has passed since my enrollment in the basic course of the 6 Dragons kung fu school...
This is my review, I've broken it down into points:
- I have developed considerable stamina (and therefore health, well-being and strength).
- I have successfully passed the first 2 exams, looking forward to the third!
- I learned to train alone as well as in a group.
- I've learned to distinguish what doesn't work from what works.
- I have developed a fighting ability that I absolutely didn't have before.
- I understood that the body is the weapon and not the fighting techniques.
- I learned to select the best fighting techniques for my body (best punches, best kicks).
- I learned how to train muscle memory correctly.
- I deepened the clinch.
- I learned to use weapons basically.
- I have learned to manage and cope with fear.
- I have acquired the rudiments of self-defense.
At one point I was on the verge of giving up, I have to be honest but after overcoming the crisis of the second month (which the master had actually mentioned to me), I am completely satisfied with how kung fu has radically changed my life.
